Introduction

The Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) provides the preeminent forum for dissemination of the latest developments in computational linguistics and natural language processing. Its Asia-Pacific Chapter (AACL) and the Asian Federation of Natural Language Processing (AFNLP) will host a joint conference AACL-IJCNLP 2020, which will be held in Suzhou, China from December 4th to December 7th, 2020.

The Association for Computational Linguistics was founded in 1962, with members from all over the world, representing the world’s highest level of natural language processing research. ACL’s published papers each year reflect the latest research progress and academic trends in the field of natural language processing, and have been widely valued by the academic and industrial communities. ACL 2019 attracted about 4,000 participants, including persons from top universities, research institutes and companies around the word. The Asian Federation of Natural Language Processing (AFNLP) was founded in 2000. AFNLP is to promote information dissemination and research co-operation among researchers in the region and co-ordinate initiatives of the region with those of the other regions in Natural Language Processing and the related fields. The International Joint Conference on Natural Language Processing (IJCNLP) is the flagship conference of AFNLP.

In AACL-IJCNLP 2020, we are expecting to attract about 1,000 researchers from various countries around the world to discuss in depth the Asian languages. The main topics discussed include: machine translation, knowledge graph, information extraction, language analysis, intelligent dialogue systems, question answering systems, and so on.

The conference will determine the order of sponsors based on the amount of sponsorship. Organizations with the same amount of sponsorship are sorted according to the time of signing the contract.
